Flat lock roofing panels come in a variety of shapes sizes and metals. Metal clips and nails for fastening the panels are available. They are installed by engaging the lower edge of each panel in the upper edge of the panel below and mechanically attaching the panels to supports using concealed. Flat lock roofing is called for on any roof with a pitch less than 3 12.

Custom made and therefore available in any size the flat locked panel is commonly used where a more monolithic finished surface is desired. Flat lock flpa panels are a shingle style panel system utilizing integrated concealed clips that can be custom fabricated to your exact size specifications. These panels allow a tremendous amount of creativity in design as they can be installed vertically horizontally or diagonally diamond pattern in a wide range of heights and widths. Originally terne metal was a copper bearing steel coated on both sides with an alloy of 80 lead and 20 tin.

You have probably seen it and possibly did not not know what it was. These panels are ideal for flat roofs domes turrets and any wall panel system interior or exterior. On steeper roofs standing seam metal should be used. Pre tinning of edges is also available.

Flat lock panels always need to be soldered on flat roofs.
